The extreme speed on skis goes back/returns on the Riberal slope in the Grau Roig sector at Grandvalira, with the celebration of the last two trials of the Speed Skiing World Cup of the International Ski Federation (FIS).
From 10 to 13 April, the world’s best professionals in men and women’s categories of this spectacular discipline will face off to win. In addition to trying to make an excellent race, they will fight to beat the slope’s speed record of 199.56 km/h, set by Swiss Philippe May in 2017.
The Riberal track has a maximum gradient of 74%, a length of 900 metres with an elevation difference of 200 meters, being the only one in Southern Europe approved by FIS for pure speed!
Dates and location: Riberal slope, Grau Roig sector (Grandvalira), from April 10 to 13, 2019.
